The Beginning
Mick and Judy - the founders of Daisy Field Farm - met many years ago when Judy came to America for a vacation. Needless to say, she never returned home, as her and Mick fell madly in love.
In their early days of the relationship, they worked and lived in the horse stable at the Pocono Manor. Yes, lived. During this time, they saved up the money to buy the land for a home that is now the location of this wonderful business.
However, it wasn't until about 15 years that they actually moved the horse operations to their home and gave it the name Daisy Field Farm. Prior to this, the couple managed the stables at the Manor for 35 years.
Now
Mick and Judy began doing horseback rides at their own farm for 15 years. It offers a much more raw experience out on the horses, as you aren't just touring the woods, but getting a glimpse of the farmland, and the work and love that goes into caring for it.
